Almasa sells real estate with InteracTable
Working together with MACINA, its software partner, ƒoresee™ forged a total solution for professional property sales for Almasa Holding in Dubai in December. Almasa is the largest IT distributor operating in the Middle East. The successful business is establishing real estate as a new area of activity. Almasa initially purchased five InteracTable for this purpose; these are now up and running in interactive showrooms to help boost real estate sales. These units mean customers can experience their new property in an interactive reality, and individually explore and gather comprehensive information about buildings and their environments. The tables feature an intelligent database link to give Almasa the capability of easily and quickly installing new properties into the system. The five InteracTable can also be networked to give guests insights into all existing properties and their availability, independent of where they are. This solution, currently only available in the Middle East, will soon be rolled-out worldwide.
InterWall action
During the special end-of-year sales campaign for InterWall in December, three of these highly innovative high-tech units were sold. One was purchased by Almasa Holding to complement its five existing InteractTable, not only but also for a press conference to mark the company's tenth anniversary. In addition, one German company and one Austrian company signed up and ordered an InterWall each to reap the benefits of very persuasive package prices.

ILM conference (Property Life Cycle Management in Düsseldorf)
Organised on the initiative of software-house Conject, a ƒoresee™ partner company, in collaboration with more than thirty companies, cities and universities, the conference for Property Life Cycle Management took place in the Düsseldorf Hilton on 11 November 2005; the conference had 500 attendees.
The key question raised at the conference was how properties of the future will develop. The experts agreed that properties are "becoming more and more complex" (Henner Mahlstedt, executive board member of Hochtief Construction AG). ƒoresee™ can supply the ultimate platform for illustrating these complex processes. Using an InteracTable and team-oriented software developed by Conject, all persons involved with the development, construction, planning and subsequent management of a building can join forces and cooperate in all phases of the project's development - from the very beginning. InteracTable and InterWall are also ideally suited for marketing purposes. These innovative pieces of furniture were located directly in the conference reception area, where they were highly praised and enthusiastically tested by conference attendees.

E12 summit in Munich
The E-12 summit is now well established as an exclusive platform for the informal discussion of future topics. This year's summit, which took place in early December in the SiemensForum, was "Digital Living". 100 top business representatives spent two days grappling with the topics of eHome, eOffice, eShopping, eCare and eMobility. A ƒoresee™ InteracTable played a key role in a Christmas scene, were it was put to good use in distributing presents and planning distribution routes. At the touch of a finger, the right present was selected for a child followed by planning of the fastest delivery route and optimised logistics. Everyone who took part in this game quickly realised that the underlying processes were very similar to every day practice in a business environment.
As you can see – the InteracTable played an important role in ensuring no child went without its Christmas present.

The final event of the year took ƒoresee™ back to Berlin once again.
Grand Opening of International Design Centre (IDZ) Berlin
The International Design Centre (IDZ) Berlin sees its role as a design-oriented platform for exchanging ideas and professional networking. The goal is to interlink design, business and culture and, insodoing, evolve into an engine of growth for innovation in product design. The opening of the new IDZ in the Berlin government quarter coincides with ƒoresee™ joining the network. Its novel interactive furniture pieces, InteracTable and InterWall, are now permanent elements of the new showrooms.
During the opening week’s activities, ƒoresee™ started its "future products" event series on 8 December. Jan-Erik Baars, Global Account Director of Philips, Eindhoven, and Frank Sonder, CEO of ƒoresee™ GmbH, used their presentations to give persuasive and fascinating accounts of the evolution of technical products, which today, more than ever before, place users at the centre of product development. Following lively discussions, visitors were able to try the InteracTable and the InterWall themselves – using only an index finger and a wine glass.
After the presentations, visitors had their chance – and enthusiastically tried the interactive furniture themselves.
